Tarot guidance by your birthdate: 21 to 31 August 2026

A collective reading speaks to everyone at once. A reading by birthdate narrows it down a little. For the last ten days of August 2026, from the 21st to the 31st, I shared three tarot readings, one for each group of birth dates: people born between the 1st and 10th, the 11th and 20th, and the 21st and 31st of any month.

This post is the archive of those three readings, with a little background on why the day you were born matters, and how to use the guidance now.

Why the day of birth?

In numerology, the day of the month you were born gives your birth number, sometimes called the root or psychic number. You find it by adding the digits of the day until you reach a single number. Someone born on the 14th has a birth number of 5 (1 + 4), and someone born on the 29th has 2 (2 + 9 = 11, then 1 + 1).

The birth number describes how you naturally respond to life day to day, your instincts and personality, while the life path number, which uses your whole date of birth, describes the bigger journey. If you'd like to work yours out, my post on life path number calculation walks you through it.

Grouping by the first, second and last ten days of the month is a simple way to give each person a reading that feels a little closer to them, while still being collective.

How to use these readings

1. Find your group from the day you were born, whatever the month.
2. Watch or read it as a reflection for that period, not a fixed prediction.
3. If more than one group speaks to you, trust that. Family members and partners often find the other groups useful too.

Born between the 1st and 10th of any month

People born in the first ten days carry birth numbers 1 to 9, and the 10th reduces back to 1. There is often a strong sense of beginnings in this group, of each number in its purest form: the leadership of 1, the sensitivity of 2, the expression of 3 and so on.

Using it now: choose one thing you have been meaning to begin and take the first step within the next ten days.

Born between the 11th and 20th of any month

This group includes the master number 11 and the doubled numbers. Many of these dates combine a 1 with another number, so people here often balance independence with something else: relationships, creativity, responsibility.

Using it now: notice where you are pulled in two directions, and ask which choice feels steadier rather than which one feels louder.

Born between the 21st and 31st of any month

Dates in the last third of the month begin with a 2 or a 3, numbers linked in numerology with partnership, sensitivity, communication and creativity. This group also includes the master number 22.

Using it now: say one thing this week that you have been holding back, kindly and clearly.
