Weekly tarot guidance by the first letter of your name

13-Sep-2026

This is an archive of a weekly tarot reading I shared in September 2026, for the week beginning 14 September. Instead of zodiac signs, I grouped the reading by the first letter of your name. Each group has its own short video with the cards and the message for that week.

If you are reading this later, you can still use it. Find your letter, watch your video, and treat the message as a reflection on a pattern rather than a forecast for a particular date.

Why the first letter of your name?

In numerology, every letter carries a number. In the Pythagorean system, the letters of the alphabet are laid out in rows of nine, so A is 1, B is 2 and so on up to I, which is 9, and then J starts again at 1. This is why A, J and S share a group: they all carry the vibration of 1.

The first letter of the name you use every day is sometimes called your cornerstone. It is said to colour how you begin things and how you meet new situations. Grouping a tarot reading by this letter is a simple way to speak to a number energy, much as a sun sign reading speaks to a zodiac sign.

If you would like to go further than one letter, you can calculate your life path number from your date of birth.

How to use this reading

  1. Find the group for the first letter of the name you are most often called. If you go by a nickname, try both and notice which feels closer.
  2. Watch the video for your group, with a notebook nearby.
  3. Write down the cards and one sentence that stays with you.
  4. Choose one small action from the message to practise during the week.
  5. At the end of the week, look back. What did you notice?

A, J, S: number 1

One is the number of beginnings, independence and leadership, linked with the Sun.

B, K, T: number 2

Two is the number of partnership, sensitivity and balance, linked with the Moon.

C, L, U: number 3

Three is creativity, expression and growth, linked with Jupiter.

D, M, V: number 4

Four is structure, hard work and foundations, linked with Rahu.

E, N, W: number 5

Five is change, movement and communication, linked with Mercury.

F, O, X: number 6

Six is love, harmony, home and responsibility, linked with Venus.

G, P, Y: number 7

Seven is reflection, intuition and the inner search, linked with Ketu.

H, Q: number 8

Eight is effort, discipline and material results, linked with Saturn. (Z also carries 8 in this system, so if your name begins with Z, this is your group.)

I, R: number 9

Nine is completion, compassion and courage, linked with Mars.

What a group reading can and cannot do

A reading for everyone whose name begins with the same letter is, by nature, general. It can offer a useful theme for the week, but it cannot see your circumstances, your birth chart or the question on your mind. Take what resonates and let the rest go.

Tarot shows energies and choices, not fixed outcomes, and it doesn't replace advice from a doctor, lawyer or financial professional.
